CAA Class 2 and Cabin Crew Medical Examinations
The Civil Aviation Authority or CAA of United Kingdom has 4 classes of medical examinations for aspirants seeking job in the field of civil aviation. The medical examination requirements differ for different classes of medical certificates ranging from Class 1 to Class 4. A Class 2 medical examination is conducted for candidates aspiring to become private pilot, student pilot, and cabin crew. Applicants for Class 2 licences have to be examined by a designated aviation medical examiner and approved by the Commissioner for Civil Aviation.
